We place a $100 hold on your credit card for incidentals. It normally takes 3-5 business days for those funds to be released. If you are using a debit card, the hold will look like a charge. Those funds will be unavailable during the hold and may take longer to be released.

You may add any additional names to your reservation; however, they will need to provide an ID along with a matching credit card to be checked in.

Oakland International Airport is roughly a 30-minute drive, whereas San Francisco International is about 45 minutes away. Typically, with morning traffic it could take up to an hour to get to the San Francisco airport.

Our hotel is within walking distance of the UCB campus—approximately two blocks and less than a five-minute walk away.

We are a non-smoking property, and we do not have a designated smoking area.

We offer valet parking for $49.50 per night, inclusive of taxes. If you prefer to self park, there are public parking garages nearby that charge overnight fees, along with street parking that is available on a first come, first served basis.

We do not offer shuttle service to the airport, but we can help secure taxi service for you.

Metered parking starts at 9 am on Mondays and ends at 6 pm on Saturdays. Parking is always free on Sundays.

Downtown Berkeley has its share of transients. It's generally safe, but we recommend practicing the safety habits you would follow in any major city.

If you will be arriving late, please call or make a note in your reservation. We will be on alert so you are able to check in whenever you arrive.

Every guestroom contains a mini fridge for your convenience. Microwaves are available upon request. Please inquire with the front desk.

We recommend Indian Rock, Fire Trails, and Botanical Garden, all of which are within walking distance. If you are driving, we recommend Tilden Park, Lake Anza, and Joaquin Miller.
